Oberwiesenthal Ski Flea market

Every year in November our neighbouring town Oberwiesenthal hosts a ski flea market. This year on the following dates:

The whole event takes place in the hall of the Oberwiesenthal Sports College and since the vendors here are mainly local students who are really into sports at the top level, it is possible to buy high quality and little used equipment at a fraction of the price.

They also sell “knock-offs” of local athletes. So if you want to buy a jacket for the German national ski team or a racing suit, for example, you’d better come to the 8th! These items sell quickly.

It’s less than a 10-minute drive from Boží Dar and free parking is available on the side of the street in front of the gymnasium. Also due to coronavirus precautions, large lines are likely to form during the morning, so we recommend arriving first thing in the morning.
